Ever evolving, Neon Tetra have been taking each opportunity to improve on their craft with both hands. 2017 proved a fruitful one for the band, as they landed lucrative support slots alongside the likes of Ecca Vandal and The Belligerents, while in March, Neon Tetra were selected to support UK superstar Robbie Williams in front of thousands in Adelaide. It’s this early momentum that Neon Tetra have taken with them into the studio over recent sessions and the vibrant energy the group has brought to their songwriting is felt no stronger than on their recently toured ‘Pollen’ EP. The music on this release is rich in soul, optimism and an undeniable beat to entice crowds out to the dance floor. With this record, Neon Tetra are putting another strong step forward and further expanding their output.

The band's next single ‘Used To Be’ is out in February with a bunch of interstate shows through April to boot. The next instalment from Neon Tetra only a small fraction of what's to come from this exciting outfit in 2019. A band definitely worth your attention.

Rolling Stone - “Think T-Rex partying with Tame Impala and King Crimson and you’ll be in the right ballpark.”

The Music - “They take cues from the likes of New Order, Tame Impala, Pink Floyd and David Bowie, the result is a combination of psychedelic rock, pop and new wave.”

AU Review - “Neon Tetra have been racking up the good nods recently, spending this year focused on getting singles out and man, they’ve been well-received.”
