Local Revolution

Rocking and bouncing with high energy and good vibes, Local Revolution are the powerful & inspiring force that brings together the rich talent & creativity of Chilean born singer songwriter guitarist - Lenin Marrón and the Jazz experience of his powerhouse band delivering an infectious & dynamic mix of Electronic Soul Funk and Pop.

As the name implies - Local Revolution are on a mission. Not only to rock the big stages with their James Brown showmanship, feel good tracks, catchy lyrics and crowd engaging antics but to positively impact the world through music. With their big 9 piece band set up and the likes of award winning musicians Lazaro Numa (Cuban Trumpeter for Havana Meets Kingston, Afro Cuban All Stars), David Goodwin (Eraser Description), Neil Palmer (Dyssidia), Wade Nixon to name a few - LR plan to take the ‘local’ revolution GLOBAL.

Since releasing their first independent album Gentle Warrior in 2016, Local Revolution have shared the stage with Maxi Priest (UK); Justin Timberlake’s world tour support Common Kings (US); headlined Adelaide’s NYE to a crowd of 40 000+ ; toured extensively around Australia, and landed a solo opening performance for Santana & The Doobie Brothers @ Botanic Park. The independent single Concrete Jungle (2018), emanates the unique afro funk sound they are known and loved for - and has now been followed up with a new and greater vision in their soulful second independent single release - In My Shoes.
